About The Artist
Sandy Phifer is a former biology teacher living in Tucson, Arizona, who has a passionate interest in plants, wildlife, ecosystems, and landscapes. Her unique artwork reflects her knowledge of biology as well as her keen sense of observation and artistic talent. She began her artistic endeavors by creating photo-realistic colored pencil drawings and she then branched into the world of watercolor, employing the same precision and control used in her drawings.
